We surprisingly received presents from 2 of my best friends (sisters)

- Looi and Kenneth (Canada) & Melissa and Eng Hui (UK)

from far away, very touching, thanks for the present and the token that both of you gave us!!! :D We are appreciating a lot and thanks for the wishes. I really don’t know how to express my feeling now, but, I will only know that friendship forever and both of you always my best sister to share every single thing with me.

These few days are quite busy for us, yesterday we just started busy to prepare the table arrangement and list, helping my parent print out the entire list, the most difficult part is the Chinese name! Gosh! I think I have been forgot all the “han-yu-pin-ying” already, that tough for me to type 100 persons Chinese name in a short night.

I think I only can feel the wedding preparation these 2 days, I think should be consider ok. I’m still in Singapore, we only travel back to Malaysia tonight (Thursday), then, tomorrow will busy to pick-up my parent-in-law fly from Indonesia, pick-up my dress and gown etc.

The most important thing I feel now is I’m happy because we got all our friends wishes, and helps, although some of friends can’t make it to attend our wedding, I think we can feel their sincerity and glad to hear some advice while we are start preparing the wedding. Thank you very much.

Ok. Need to pack the thing and leave soon. I will post more after my wedding. Meanwhile, wish everyone have an enjoyable December Christmas celebration.

Wedding PreparationOctober 9, 2006 11:33 am

ya! I have been 2 days insomnia due to the wedding preparation. I totally don’t know what I should prepare and tension until can’t sleep for last 2 nights. After I attended the friend’s wedding last weekend, I suddenly found out I don’t have Emcee, camera men, power point etc. Due to at home I’m the only girl and first time wedding preparation, so, parent will be quite dependent on me to arrange it, but, unfortunately I away at Singapore, so, thing seems like can’t move a lot, and work make me more tension, there have a project really can’t move on, due to the resource, and one project must be implement one week before my wedding, due to I’m the PM, co-coordinator, and also implementer, that make me more tension, some more user warned me if this time can’t implement, they will send the email to the big big boss to complaint about the IT. hrmmm… so ridiculous, but, no choice.

I saw a lot of people really put in a lot of effort to do the wedding event. They have a very pretty slide show, and fantastic performance etc. People always comment wedding is just once in a life time, but, for me, I just wish a peaceful wedding dinner and not much tension given, because these few months really too many thing need to handle. After the Malaysia wedding, still need to prepare the Indonesia wedding, at first I feel so lonely without any “ji-mui”, but, due to everyone also busy with their life and work, it might be hard to asking friend to accompany me there. :S

Wedding, I just wish to celebrate it with my close friend, and music accompaniment, and the important thing is my hubby is the one I wish to live with and take care of me. Luckily is with his support, I keep my frustration away.

Now I really pray hard is everything is slowly settle down, project can really move out, and my guest who come over to my wedding will enjoy themselves with my blessing. - Alison

I found out when any event happen, then you will meeting a lot of old friends from primary to friends you are meeting recently. Just because of my wedding ceremony in Dec, I found out I contacted a lot of old friend and something funny is it seems like I’m organizing a gathering. :D Sometime feel “pai-sei” to contact some friend that is long time not keep in touch, but, after certain time I wish to have this type of gathering, especially the special event maybe.

Think about it, on the wedding dinner that night, I don’t think I have much time to chat with friend, then, I miss the chitchat session, but, I think is a good jump start to keep in touch back with old friend after that. :D

Previously when busy with career, relationship, new friendship etc. we always forgot about we still need to maintain the old friendship, still need to “feed” the old friendship with loving heart and care, else the friendship is getting far away from us. Sometime I found out after sometime, especially when the age getting older, the more I miss the old friendship. :D I don’t know whether I still have chance to get the gap close, but, hopefully will try my best to keep it up. - Alison

Yesterday Basri bought a karaoke VCD, he loves the song title "Tong Hua" (fairy story), and original singer I also don’t know who’s the guy. :) Why he practice? hahaha…. as a Malaysian, if you attended last time the old time wedding dinner, then you know it. I still remembered last time in Malaysia when i attend friend’s wedding, people like to have this karaoke session at the small stage, then, people like to go up and sing the song. Nowadays I think Malaysia doesn’t have this style already. But, Indonesia still has this Karaoke session, and groom must go up to the stage and sing!!!!  :o tell you what, I never listen Basri sing before??!!! Until now he has no choice to practice it! hahahha…. I heard the Indonesia style wedding practice is whoever go up the stage sing, the groom or the groom’s family must give the ang-pow to the singer. Hahha… that’s sound fun! Unfortunately yesterday our mike is not function properly, so, I still cannot have chance to really hear Basri singing level yet. Surprisingly he can’t read the mandarin, but, he memorizes the lyrics while he listen the song. :D  not bad! not bad! ***mui mui clapping hand*** emoticon hahaha… i’m thinking maybe i can play the piano, and he can sing on it. not a bad idea huh…. emoticon - Alison
