Loving Life of Basri & Alison

This is my parent 2^nd time visiting me in Singapore. They have brought us a TV (32 inch). The previous TV has been moved to Basri’s study room, so he can play his playstation game anytime he wants. I doubt maybe next time he will spend more time inside the study room compare to bed room.

During this visit, my cousin, cousin’s wife (Adreen Tiang) and my brother also visited us together with my parent. We spent a great time together, dinner together, chitchat, and shopping together. I have been missing this gathering time for quite sometime. We brought them to Sentosa underworld, VIVO City, china town, some restaurant.

Hopefully the next time visit will come soon.   

For the past few weekends, we went through the quotation, checked out the new house accessories and furniture. Finally, our new house renovation started on 7^th May 2007 (Monday). The whole renovation will take about 2 weeks, so, tentatively it will be completed by next week!!!! Me and Basri are looking forward to this date, to visit our new house, the new theme of the house.

The couple that we like to thanks is Judy and Kok Yong. This sweet couple really provides us a great help. Without them, we will totally just mess up the house design, and maybe end up become “Ah Beng & Ah Lian” house. Hahahaha….. the big joke is, we are so clever that we just bought the furniture without any measurement of our house space, end up we only found out we bought something that is not really match to our house design . Luckily Judy is an interior designer, so she helps to think of an idea and draw the design plan for us. Actually we just have a little budget on the renovation but she helps us to think of idea to save cost on the renovation, and she also gets us a good contractor and bargains for a good price for us!!! Both of them also offered the help to drive us around for house accessories shopping. We felt so “pai-sei”, as Judy is pregnant now, but she still accompanied us around for shopping for the new house accessories and coordinating the works with the contractors. We really appreciate their help!!!

Our new house is quite big, with 3 bed rooms and 1 study room. We have captured some photos of the house before renovation (Photos before renovation). Hopefully after next week I can upload the photo after the renovation completed!

OK, finally I convinced Basri go to try the YOGA together at PURE yoga, is a complimentary pass from company. so, last Sunday early morning, me, Basri and my sister-in-law woke up at 7:05am to make up the HOT YOGA class at PURE YOGA center @ Takashimaya, orchard.  
The yoga room temperature is above 37C. gosh! Its hot, imagine you moving and doing some yoga stretch movement under the super hot sun, or summer season. Basri whole shirt was wet! And while we doing the movement, you can each other sweat dropping. Hahahha… sarcastic??!!!

Believe me, after that, you will totally feel so glad that you can survive after the 60 mins class. Hahaha…. after that class, Basri and me decided to sign up the YOGA package at PURE YOGA, so we can exercise together. In this yoga center, they also provide Partner Yoga, and pre-natal yoga etc. quite interesting. Due to Nov and Dec is a busy month for us, so, we has sign up the package that start in next year. J so, will see how hard working are us and hopefully we can have a good time to share together and exercise together. J - Alison

ya! before that, me and basri had a blog, but, is just for both of us, after sometime, we found out slowly we have lost in touch with some friend that are not frequent keep in touch. After visited Melisa’s blog, i found out the blogsome not bad to host the blog. So, we decided to start our another new blog website, that we can share with our friends about our boring, interesting and exciting life. Hopefully this blog can let you know what is the recent thing happened around us. 

I am on the way migrating all the previous blog to this new Tom & Jerry’s blog website. You can view it under the month’s achieve (right hand side menu).
