Loving Life of Basri & Alison

   

This morning I went to office quite early, to give out some Christmas presents for my colleagues. I feel sick this morning, but, I am exciting to look forward today event!!!

This year is my lucky year; I got the 1^st price lucky draw in my department Christmas lunch - a foot massage from Watson! **Alison is dancing happily** I also got few presents from my colleagues, lovely gifts!!!

After the Christmas lunch, I feel so enthusiastic go back home to prepare my rosemary roasted chicken, salmon and salad for tonight Christmas Eve!!! I will take more photo after tonight dinner, this is our first time to prepare roasted chicken. Hahaha… ** finger crossed**

  

Since last year, Basri had been keep thinking to buy himself  play station, since we are always busy with all the event preparation, wedding, CNY, new house viewing, shopping for new furniture etc, so end up he no chance to buy it.

Last Friday night, he finally walked to the shop and bought himself a new toy, PLAYSTATION 3! He was so excited with his new toy!!!! I saw the PLAYSTATION 2 price is much cheaper, so, I ask Basri why he wants to buy the PLATSTATION 3 instead of 2. hahaha… I think when the person got what he like; he will give you thousand reasons on the good point. Actually I love the physical look of PLAYSTATION 3, it looks so classic and nice! With this PLAYSTATION 3, there have many features like online gaming, Bluetooth, blu ray, DVD movie, MP3 music, 60 GB hard disk and more realistic graphic display etc.

Just because he want to make me happy, he bought me the game, SONIC. so, I play that game until 3:00am that night, but, I still prefer the MARIO game previously, that one more easy to play. Hehehe….

Today is saturday (23rd Dec 2006), have been long time can’t go out for my christmas shopping. So this morning i did my last minutes shopping for the family and fiends!  I love this moment, buying present, and doing the wrapping. I think i enjoy the family, friends gathering time, and especially looking they open the present, the happiness we have share!

We did our shopping for 3 hours, a bit of tired, due to i still under recovering. Afternoon, i meet up with Selena for the tea time at SIMEI Star Bucks. We exchange the christmas present,and we have a good chatting time.  

Now my christmas tree have all the presents and ready to send out and be picking up by tomorrow night!!! HURAYYY!!! So, wish you all have a good celebration. ~~~ MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! with regards, Basri & Alison~~~

 HAHAHA… finally i bought my first piano in Singapore. yes! your right! i decided to continue my diploma lesson, the lesson fees here is quite exp! end up i take a lesson once a month, one hour lesson cost $80. **gosh** but, I am thinking to give it a try first. The teacher is a Russian guy, surprisingly; this teacher actually is introduced by one of my headhunter. Hahaha…  … I have visited this teacher last month, he do a lot volunteer work, using the music therapy to healing the down symptom kid, and he also teaching at the Singapore teacher training center. My first class is next Saturday, will see how… I think my hearing is not really good in music, I need to improve more at this part, so, I can listened the pop song, then play it instantly.

Oh! Ya! The piano is cost $1000, included turning and delivery. I bought it at the piano factory shop, introduced by my music teacher. This piano is second-hand piano, I think consider quite cheap with this type of piano, the quality of the sound is not bad, the touch also ok. Due to my budget, I think next time only upgrade it if needed.  

Do I have intention to teach piano? Hahaha… I am not sure now, hopefully teaching few student part-time after that, since is my interest now. Sometime I worry after the interest turn into business, it become more hectic and not that interesting already. Anyway, just try out slowly first.  - Alison
