Last Friday i was on leave, so, I went to Suntec with Basri, while Basri busy with his stuff, I went to buy the movie ticket “Three Kingdom”, acting by Andy Liew. After bought the movie ticket, I also meet up with Sharon Yeow, good catch-up time with her. :) I remembered Sharon recommended a very delicious choc last year Christmas during our gathering, so, I wanted to try out, she brought me to that shop. Hahhaa… the price of the choc is not cheap! It cost SGD14 per-box. Look at the packaging, end up I still can’t resist it, so I bought the bitter favor. Anyway, its taste super nice and yummy!!!! :)
Aunties’s gang gathering - MOF @ Marina Square
Last time I remembered me and Basri tried the MOF @ Bugis Junction, the food there is very authentic and yummy!!! So, this time I suggested MOF for the gathering venue, surprisingly is Pey Choo also MOF’s fan!!! Others didn’t try before.
The cool thing is everyone of us really make effort to on half day leave to meet up, due to the Christmas season coming, we proposed to have gift exchange section. It really sounds wonderful, gathering, yummy food, gift exchange and chitchat!!!
We have fun from 1:30pm till 4:30pm @ MOF! We like a bird, non-stop talking, and chitchat and laughing, the whole restaurant can hear our sound, but we didn’t care about it. After that, we switch a place and continue chitchat till 6:30pm. Hahaha…. I think when girls get together; they can chat for few hours non-stop.
sometime my dad commented that girls’ and chair always has a glue connected them, and they can’t leave once they sit down.
On that day, I received 2 Christmas from Kwai Fun and Janice, these 2 presents are so lovely!!! i totally looking forward the next gathering!!!
Since our baby Jamie back from Australia, so, that day morning we baked a cake, almond cranberry loaf. Jamie told her she want to eat crab, so, that night we plan to go change village to eat the seafood!!! At the same time I also invited Allen go along.
We ordered a lot of food, until the waitress looked at us and asked us, “you order 5 dishes already, are you sure you want to continue?!” hahahaha…. Then we only aware, so “pai-sei” but, I really hungry that night!!!!!
We order La-la, sting ray BBQ, pepper crab, chili crab, man-tou, vege kay-lan, rice, and we FINISHED ALL!!! J amazing… but, talked about the food, I still prefer the crab that I have ate in Kuala Lumpur. Yummy…yummy… now I think about it, I wish I can go back home (MALAYSIA) and have the food fiesta again!!!
after the dinner, Jamie and Allen followed us back to our house and we continue feeding both of them with our almond cranberry float. hahaha…. i think i am absolutely treating my guest well… hahha…
what singaporean crazy with? DONUT!
What singaporean crazy with?! DONUT FACTORY’s donus! the queue for this donut is super long, there have one time people queue up for 3 hours just to buy this donut?!
I noticed in singapore, if the food is good, people will waste 3 hours to just queue up, i quite surprise on this. :S Last Thursday is a public holiday in singapore, maybe too many outstation, so the queue is quite short, end up me and basri joined the short queue and bought the donut at Suntec.
Is the donut delicious? hahahaa…. yupe. The donut actually is very delicious, especially the double-choc! very yummy.. the bread is very soft. that day we bought dozen donuts. LOL.
In this Malaysia trip, me and Basri tried a lot a lot of delicious food. Maybe i have been sometime didn’t go back to Malaysia. I have completed quite a lot of mission in this trip, trying good food (especially cooked by my mom), family gathering, visit Daryl and her baby, went to bank to settle some bank stuff (the bank only open on weekday), attending my best friend’s wedding dinner, meeting friends, breakfast with Lee Szee (Roti canai) etc.
Sometime i miss my friends in KL, the food there, but after few days, i will frust with KL traffic, the security there, and the only thing i can do is SHOPPING, but, the stuff and food there getting expensive.
sometime i just queries why people there can spend so much and do they save any money?
every year birthday we will went out for dinner, this year i plan to give Basri some special treat, dinner at home.
actually a lot of people asked, "eh! why not eat outside, easy and convenient!" but, for me, i think eat at home is special, and prepare a dinner actually is not that time consuming. I prepare the dinner just in 20 mins, fast!!! and delicious!
we opened the Ice-wine that we have bought from Canada last July 07. I wish Looi and Ken are here to share this ice-wine. The ice-wine is so sweet and taste good!!!! Next time i will improve the steak, i want to have a medium-rare cook, but, this time not really medium-rare. Sometime when i doing cooking, it will remind me the UK study life, the flatmate, the cooking time etc.
