Yesterday I have my 2nd time tiramisu mission!!! This time I think it partially success, LOL!!! Hopefully my next try will be the best. YUMMY…YUMMY… I love the wine taste, but, this time I think it not very strong. The recipe is giving by Ovidiu, very easy step to follow. :)

Tiramisu Recipe
250g mascarpone cheese
2 eggs
3 tablespoon sugar
250 ml strong coffee (use 1 and half more coffee powder than normal)
4 table spoons of XO
1 and half pack of "ladyfingers"
Pinch of salt
Few drops of lemon juice

  1. Beat the mascarpone in a small bowl until soft. In a separate bowl beat the egg yolk with 1 tablespoon sugar until the mixture is pale yellow and fluffy. Gradually beat in the softened mascarpone.
  2. Using an electric beater or wire whisk, beat the egg whites with the salt and the lemon juice until they form stiff peaks. Fold in the egg whites into the mascarpone mixture.
  3. Mix the coffee with XO and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Line one medium deep square tray (I’m using a 23 x 23 cm) deep (about 8cm) with ladyfingers. Sprinkle the coffee mix over the lady fingers. They should be wet but not over saturated. Cover with half of the cheese & egg mixture. Make another layer of the ladyfingers, moist with coffee and cover again with the remaining of the egg mixture. Sprinkle with cocoa powder. Chill in the fridge for about 1 hour or more before serving.
