Yesterday my colleagues gave me 2 movie tickets that sponsored by my company for the gala premier opening at Vivocity biggest cinema. At first not interested to go, but, since this week has the holiday mood already, so, I decided go for it! Since is free and Gala Premier normally can see the actors there and some interesting thing can see.

This movie is produce by Singapore. Actually personally I like the Singapore movie, not a bad choice, funny, and meaningful. The movie start at 9:20pm, so, we went back home, bath and change our clothes, had our dinner then only went to catch the movie.

When we went there, we saw the red carpet at the floor, packed with the people. This is the first time we went to this biggest cinema at VIVOCITY, this cinema just opened last year. This cinema is just like the open car park concept, very big screen, and seat.

The movie main actors are Fann Wong, Moses Lim, Gurmit Singh. Both Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh should be famous to Asia country. If you like Pua-Chu-Kang show, then you know Gurmit Singh. Due to this is gala premier night, so, we saw all the actors there, the director, the singer (Ah Du), and some other Singapore actors. Fann Wong is very skinny and she wore a very high heel shoe, look young. And Gurmit Singh is a funny guy.

The movie actually is just reflecting the current company culture, the way I look at it. I really feel that it seems like my company, few common things that you can see inside the movie:

  • When VIP coming, everyone must prepare just because VIP coming. Throw or hide whatever thing that shouldn’t appear.
  • Every email must CC and BCC. CC means “cover ca-cheng” (means cover your back side), and BCC is “better cover ca-cheng” 
  • Management always sending email to cover themselves. 
  • When mistake cannot cover, then management will point their pointer to the staff below. 
  • The management person will have a gang that always steak together to make the other high profile person die first. 
  • The person will always follow the wind direction that higher management want. This is so call “professional” 
  • Management always want 5 E, there are “Efficiency”, “Effectiveness”, and blah blah blah. …. Staff only know 4 B, there are “bang-sai”, “bang-jiao” (pee), “bang-pui” and “bang-gang” (go back home”
